Bianca007 asked:
i’ve known this guy for 7 years, and the last 3 years my feelings for him seem to be getting stronger. We are pretty close family friends. At my sisters wedding, the chemistry between us was very strong. We have definitely passed the boundaries of flirting. We’ve shown through actions that we like each other, but i want to tell him. Our only issue is really age difference. Keeping this love secret is more unbearable than rejection itself. What should i do? (keep in mind i know i truly do love him, and that he got out of a bad relationship in the summer)

Be yourself, he will know how you feel and if he is interested he will let you know
give him a handjob. JOKING!!!! just tell him, 7 years is plenty enough, and even if he doesn’t like you back, because of the previous 7 year friendship, your bound to stay friends!
past experience with a girl I liked!
Don’t confess, make him admit to liking you!
Now I don’t know what you mean by passing the boundaries of flirting but if you keep the flirty attitude with lots of body contact (guys love body contact) and eye contact.. and just be a funny interesting girl I am sure he will come around.
If you do decide to tell him you like him DON’T make a big spectacle out of it. Just be like “Listen, its a bit obvious that you have a huge crush on me.. everyone know that. And I like of like you too, but you are a big coward for not asking me out so I am having second guesses”. I would bet money if you said that just like that he would ask you out (if he is interested).
He will be sure to cave, trust me
OK . so here’s my way of reasoning it out.
Your not in kindergarten anymore right.
I’m pretty sure you can go up to him and let him know your feelings toward him.If he likes you back the same way you like him then there’s no problem . You both like each other and so if you let him know you like him then you’re not going to make yourself look stupid. You see what i mean? And if he had a bad relationship let him know that you are not going to screw him up ..
Hope this helped.
Good luck =]
Congratulations
Well, don’t do it over the internet, or a text message, or the phone.
Do it in person, it’ll mean more and it’ll show your courage.
If it were me, I’d probably say something like this;
“I don’t know if you’ve noticed already, or not.. but my feelings for you have been getting stronger. If you feel the same way.. I’d really love to take our relationship to the next level.”
If he doesn’t agree with you.. just say I understand.. and just let him know that those feelings are there, but you’re willing to put them aside in order to keep the friendship (but secretly, you’re just waiting for him to admit he likes you too
)
Good luck, and I hope everything works out.
