Through out the past ive been in horrible relationships…..ive been cheated on and miss treated….a year ago along came my sweet wonderful boyfriend and i couldnt be happier. But im always getting afraid and insecure and here and there i try my best not to let my guard down and its all due to fear of being hurt. I mean i should know better he isnt that way hes completely faithful and even a wonderful father to his kids. what can i do to remain confident and to let me keep my guard down and trust that he wouldnt hurt me…?

Keep him happy and he won’t be tempted to wander. That isn’t true of every guy, but I think it’s true with your guy. So every other month or so, when it feels like your relationship is turning into a routine, seduce him all over again–keep him attracted to you, and loyalty will be automatic–you are the one he wants!

You definitely have to keep the fire going. It doesn’t mean do everything for him and keep him satisfied. That will only make him bored. Keep him curious and interested. That’s the most fun part of relationships is the beginning when you’re getting to know one another.
Communication is always key. If you can’t get your guy to open up (like most guys won’t), learn how to read his nonverbal signals. Most people can be read like a book. Listen for the cues and you will be able to respond. Relationships usually go wrong when people go in different directions and get out of synch. Try to keep common interests as well as your own so you can stay unique and interesting. In short, don’t be an amoeba. There needs to be a balance between growing alone and growing together. You may be together as one, but he fell in love with an individual – you. Keep each other in that love state and you will succeed.
